Mary Marek represents companies in a variety of corporate and transactional matters. Mary has experience advising investors, entrepreneurs and companies in private debt and equity financings, securities law matters, acquisitions, corporate formation and corporate governance issues. Mary also has experience in venture capital financing transactions and private equity and hedge fund investment transactions. Her prior corporate representation also includes public company acquisition transactions, public offering and compliance work.
Mary most recently practiced as a corporate and securities attorney in the Austin office of Vinson & Elkins LLP.
Mary graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2006. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
