Jay Reddien specializes in the representation of companies in commercial transactions of all kinds, with particular emphasis on intellectual property licensing and technology-based transactions and on services and outsourcing arrangements.  His experience includes structuring, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial transactions, including advertising agreements, marketing agreements, electronic commerce agreements, co-branding agreements, trademark licenses, content licenses, software licenses, OEM agreements, VAR agreements, reseller agreements, manufacturing agreements, supply agreements, distribution agreements, development agreements, joint venture agreements, and asset acquisitions and dispositions.

Jay’s clients range from start-ups to large public companies and have included companies from a variety of industries, including software vendors, hardware manufacturers, consumer products companies, medical device companies, consulting companies and a wide variety of e-commerce and Internet-related businesses.

Prior to co-founding Kastner Huggins Reddien Gravelle LLP, Jay spent more than four years as a senior associate in the Technology Transactions Groups of the Austin, Texas office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P. C. and the Broomfield, Colorado office of Cooley LLP.  Prior to that, Jay was an associate in the corporate department of the Dallas, Texas office of Baker Botts L.L.P.

Jay received his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law.  He received a B.A. in Philosophy and Biology from Southern Methodist University.
